Terms of Use

1. We Are Not a Talent Agency

Monika Dalman Casting is a casting company in Vancouver, British Columbia: we cast roles for our clients (producers, directors and other casting professionals). We are not a talent agency or manager. Signing up to our talent database doesn’t make us your agent or create any contract between us, and doesn’t guarantee that you will be contacted, auditioned, cast or offered work.

2. Your Sign-Up

• Accurate information: what you send us, such as your name, contact details, union status, height, weight, location and agent, must be true, current and about you (or the person you sign up for). If it changes, sign up again.
• Minors: anyone under 18 may be signed up only by their parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms for them.

3. Your Photos and Reels

You must own the photos and reels you send us or have permission to share them (from the photographer, say). By sending them, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to keep them, resize or crop them, and share them with our clients to consider you for roles. You keep all your rights in them. Our permission ends when you ask us to delete your sign-up, except for copies we have already shared with a client for a project.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Copy or collect information from the Site with automated tools, such as scrapers, bots or crawlers (search engines indexing our public pages aside).
• Send spam, false or misleading information, or photos or reels you have no right to share.
• Sign up as someone else, or for someone you aren’t the parent or guardian of.
• Try to get around the Site’s security or spam protection, or interfere with how it works.

5. Our Content

The Site’s text, photos and design belong to Monika Dalman Casting or to the people who allowed us to use them. Please don’t reuse them without our permission.

6. Other Websites

The Site links to, and embeds, other websites and services (such as Google Forms, YouTube, IMDb and social media). We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". We don’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that a form you send will reach us. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Site, including a missed audition or opportunity, a form that failed to send, or any indirect or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute about them or the Site is to be decided by the courts of British Columbia.

9. Changes to These Terms

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
